Region 2 Conference Registration Information

For those of you who attended this year’s NIGP Forum in National Harbor, MD you know it was a memorable event – in more ways than 1.  Yes, we had an earthquake a few days before the start and hurricane & power outrage while we were there, but we also had the usual informative educational sessions, (mostly) interesting speakers, time to catch up with old friends/make new friends and of course experience the wonderful hosting by our friends from MPPA.  Great job guys!

Now its time to take a breath, turn the page and look forward to this year’s Region 2 Conference – being hosted by the DPPA gang.  Hopefully by now you’ve submitted your registration for the October 12th thru 14th event being held at the Dover Downs Hotel and Conference Center.  If you haven’t yet – don’t worry - it’s not too late.  Attached is a copy of the registration packet with all the information you need, so don’t wait any longer and send in your registration paperwork ASAP.  Also, see the information below regarding making your hotel reservation and contact persons for any additional questions.

You may have noticed that I will be hosting a Roundtable/Open Discussion – called “What’s Your Problem” – on Friday morning (October 14th).  As you may recall, we’ve had similar endings to the last few regional conferences.  Along those lines, it would be most beneficial if you could email me beforehand any topics/issues you’d like to discuss.  That way we can get right into whatever topics we have, rather than the usual struggles getting started.  It will also give me some time to do any necessary “homework” that may be needed on my part.

Thanks so much and look forward to seeing many of you next month in Dover, DE.
